In August 2013 I decided to leave the UK and look for a job working on a super yacht, after spending a couple of months in the South of France, Italy and Mallorca I found a job on a 85m motor boat. In November we set sail from Palma to Saint Martin in the Caribbean and now I’ve also ticked the box of a transatlantic crossing. The Caribbean season included cruising around St Barts, British Virgin Islands & Antigua. The guests were very happy with a mixture of relaxing, deep tissue and sports massages.
My partner in crime and cabin mate Mich, taken on xmas day not sure exactly where in the Caribbean.
It was a short Caribbean season and we soon headed back over the Atlantic to the South of France with a cheeky stop off Maderia. The Mediterranean season was quickly in full swing and we cruised around the South of France, Monaco, Italy, Mallorca, Amalfi Coast, Croatia, Montenegro and finally Venice. The coastlines and countries were truly stunning. I was kept busy buy the guests providing massages both on deck and in the treatment room. Deep tissue and relaxing massages were the most popular with the occasional sports massage. I even managed to squeeze in a few crew massages who most definitely needed them!
I was very fortunate to massage guests whilst we were underway in the shade with the breathtaking back drop of the Amalfi coast. It’s not often you get to massage with a view.
